GETTING STARTED

Congratulations on purchasing your CONVERGE® Pro 2 (CP2) Touch Panel Controller. The ClearOne Touch Panel Controller is a highly intuitive 10-inch, touch-screen device designed for CP2, and allows users to control their audio conference, including managing contacts and placing and controlling calls.

Note: The Touch Panel Controller can only be used with CP2 systems. It is not compatible with first generation CONVERGE Pro systems.

The Touch Panel Controller connects with the CP2 through a RS232 port, Ethernet port, or Wi-Fi. Power for the Touch Panel Controller is supplied by the included power adapter, Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE), or P-Link connection.

For instructions on how to connect the Touch Panel Controller to a CP2 in the ClearOne Dialer software and more, go to the ClearOne website: https://www.clearone.com/rl-home

The following tools may be required for Tabletop Mount installation of the Touch Panel Controller:

Tabletop Mounting Procedure

The tabletop mounted Touch Panel Controller must be placed on the table. This is a free-standing unit on the table, and is not permanently fixed on the table. You can also adjust the angle at which you want the touch screen.

Attach the Tabletop Mount to the Touch Panel Controller with the M4 x 8mm screws included in the mount kit, using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.

The mount has screw holes for both 75 mm x 75 mm, and 100 mm x 100 mm VESA standards, but the Touch Panel Controller only has 75 mm x 75 mm mounting holes.

You can adjust the position of the plate to be lower or higher on the controller, but ClearOne recommends installing the tabletop mount on the lower set of holes (green outline).

Note: Connections are at the bottom of the Touch Panel Controller. Ensure proper mounting without affecting cable connections such as power, Ethernet or RS232.

Once the tabletop mount is installed, you can adjust the angle of the Touch Panel Controller by holding the base of the mount down to stabilize it, pulling up on the lever at the top, adjusting the angle, and then releasing the lever at the appropriate angle.
